Our Father in Heaven through the intercession of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, spare us during this Hurricane season from all harm. Protect us and our homes from all disasters of nature. Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help us. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Hurricane Prayers in Islam
Islam is the second biggest religion in the world and has so many members of almost every ethnicity. Since the original language of Islam’s Holy Book, the Quran is Arabic, most of the prayers are also in Arabic. Here’s an Islamic dua ( prayer ) for Muslims who would like to pray as protection from hurricanes:
اللَّهُمَّ لا تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ ، وَلا تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ ، وَعَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ
Allahumma la taqtulna bi-ghadhabik wa la tuhlikna bi-‘adhaabik wa ‘aafina qabla dhaalik
